Q:

Yesterday I had asked the following question

Acceleration due to gravity on Mars is double that on the surface of Earth. What is the value of gravitational constant on Mars?

Suppose the above given condition was true, then what would be the answer?

A:

Hi,

Only acceleration due to gravity changes with the change in the radius and mass of the planet.

The gravitational constant is actually a universal gravitational constant, so in all the conditions, it remains same.

Thank You!
