Tell me about characteristics of plane mirror,concave, convex mirrors

Hi,

The image formed by a plane mirror is always virtual, erect and laterally inverted. It is also of the same size as the object.

The image formed by a concave mirror can be real or virtual, erect or inverted, depending on the position of the object. It can either be diminished, enlarged or of the same size.

The image formed by convex mirror is always virtual, erect and diminished in size.

Metallic components that are generally used in construction of big structures like buildings, machines and also scientific equipment. The cracks or holes inside metal blocks, which are invisible from outside, reduce the strength of the structure. Ultrasonic waves are allowed to pass through the metal block and detectors are used to detect the transmitted waves. If there is even a small defect, the ultrasound gets reflected back indicating the presence of flaw or defect.
