i dont understand kepler,s laws of planetary motion

Hi,
Kepler's three laws of planetary motion can be described as follows:
1. The planets move in elliptical orbits around the Sun, with the Sun being located at one of the two focus.
2. An imaginary line drawn from the center of the Sun to the center of the planet will sweep out equal areas in equal intervals of time.
3. The cube of the mean distance of planet from the Sun is directly proportional to the square of the time it takes to move around the Sun.
