How can I excel in solving H.C. Verma? I have read the chapters throughly and understood the given concepts well. However, while solving the excercises, I find about 60% of the problems from mechanics to be unsolvable. Whats your advice? I am fed up of looking at solutions. I want to make my own solutions as fast as I can. Specially, the chapters of "centre of mass" and that of "rotational mechanics" teases me all the time!!!

Answer:

Hi Arpan!

We are delighted to know that you are solving H.C Verma and are able to solve about 40% of the problems on your own!

At this point of time, this learning outcome of yours is not at all disappointing. In fact, you should encourage yourself to practice more and gradually increase your current 40% success towards 100%. Continue practising and solving.

Taking help from the solved solutions should not demotivate you from that reference, you should grasp whatever new concept you have learnt and try and apply it on your own for solving further problems.

Stay consistent and calm,

Hope this helped :)
