Every year, about 11 lakh students appear for the JEE Main exam. This exam is now conducted by NTA or the National Testing Agency. This change of the exam body from CBSE to NTA has gotten a lot of attention. A change of this stature is often followed by confusion and speculation, so students, their families, friends, relatives, school authorities, tuition teachers and the media have all been talking about it. Everyone has an opinion, and no one is too shy to express it.

Everything you need to know about JEE Main 2019:

  • As announced by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • The exam will be conducted twice a year in the online mode.
  • For the exam scheduled to be held in January, the online registration process will begin from 1 September.
  • For the exam scheduled to be held in April, the online registration process will begin from 8 February.

JEE Main Eligibility

Students whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1994 (for general and OBC candidates) are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019. Students belonging to SC, ST and PWD are allowed a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit.
