IIT JEE Syllabus For JEE Advanced 2020

Students are daily preparing for IIT JEE exam 2020. There have been a lot of changes this year. NTA, the new exam body for IIT JEE, will conduct the IIT JEE Main and Advanced exams twice a year (in January and in April) in the online mode. But thankfully, the syllabus for IIT JEE 2020 is kept intact for both Main and Advanced examinations.

Just like previous years, the IIT JEE 2020 syllabus adheres to the NCERT curriculum. To successfully crack IIT JEE, students must have a thorough conceptual understanding of the topics included in the syllabus. However, simply getting familiar with the topics is not enough; students must be aware of the weightage of the topics as applicable for IIT JEE. Because teaming up smart work with dedication is the best way to go about IIT JEE preparation.

Strategies to Tackle IIT JEE Syllabus 2020

The IIT JEE Advanced syllabus is vast, no doubt, but you are already familiar with it. IIT JEE Advanced 2020 syllabus mostly overlaps with the Class 12 board exam curriculum, especially if your school adheres to the NCERT solutions textbooks. But, cracking IIT JEE Advanced 2020 is not the same as clearing the Class 12 board exam. It is way more tough and competitive. So, what should you do differently?

First of all, approach your syllabus from the IIT JEE Advanced 2020 perspective.

Second, get accustomed to the question pattern and the difficulty level of the exam.

And third, follow the quick tips and tricks below:

  • Get familiar with the IIT JEE study material
  • Divide the topics into three parts: strong zone, weak zone, moderate zone
  • Count your strong zone to fetch more marks but don’t leave out the rest entirely
  • Refer to solved examples and previous year papers
  • Take at least 3-6 full-length mock tests
  • Analyse your mistakes and learn from them

And, don’t get overwhelmed, get help instead. Browse through the study plans by TopperLearning and Motion JEE. Let's team up and crack IIT JEE together!
