Resistance is a property by which there is opposition to certain type of motion.
For example if a car is goin on road, resistance is frictional force that acts
to opposite to the movement.
If it is about current, then resistance is against the flow of electrons in the wire.
It is a type of opposing force.
resistivity is the resistance offered by a unit length of a material. It is
generally a constant. Depending on the material, its length and area, the
resistance can be different but resistivity will be the same as it is constant
for a particular material.
