Pyrenoid is a proteinaceous structure associated with algal chloroplasts that often forms storage compounds. In other words, it is a region of starch formation.
A hypha (plural hyphae) is a long, branching filamentous structure of a fungus. In most fungi, hyphae are the main mode of vegetative growth, and are collectively called a mycelium.
