Diploblastic organisms means having a body derived from only two embryonic cell layers i.e. ectoderm and endoderm (but no mesoderm). Example - Sponges and coelenterates.
Triploblastic organisms are organisms whose body is derived from three embryonic cell layers (ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm). Example - All multicellular animals except sponges and coelenterates.
