What is biomass and bio gas? How are they similar? How are they different?

Biomass includes the biological material from living and dead plants or animals. It can be used as direct combustion or can be change into other fuels like biofuels.
Biogas is a usable form of energy and obtained from biomass by anaerobic respiration.
