Sin is the Sine of a given angle in a right angled triangle, and it's the ratio of opposite side to the hypotenuse in the right angled triangle for the mentioned angle. It's what you learned in trignometry.

For example, sin 30 = 0.5.

The sin 53 will be given the example.
