the velocity of a certain monochromatic light, in a given transparent medium is 2*10to the power 8 m/s. what is the 1. critical angle of incidence 2. polarising angle for the medium

since velocity of light in the medium is: 2 x 108 m/s
thus the refractive index of medium will be: velocity of light in free space/ velocity of light in the medium, n  = 3/2
thus critical angle: sin-1 n
and polarization angle also called brewester angle: tan-1 n
