The position of the particle along x-axis varies with time as x = 4t2 – 6t + 1, then: a) What is the velocity at t = 0? b) When does velocity become zero?

Given that:  x = 4t2 – 6t + 1
 
Velocity, v = dx / dt = 8t - 6
 
Velocity at t = 0, v = - 6 units
 
For the velocity to be zero, 8 t - 6 = 0
 
t = 6 / 8 = 0.75 unit
