sorry to say ma'am but you hv'nt given me the answer which i wanted to know. plz ma'am solve my query about limit of the average velocity formula.and how it becomes dx/dt, really it is out of my mind. plz if u could tell me the way i.e numerical representation of dx/dt. the fig. of which i am talking defines the velocity from position-time graph velocity at given time t=4 secs is the slope of the tangent to the graph at that instant. i don't understand the slope of the tangent to the graph at given instant

AS u r not posting the exact qs , so we assume a similar situation here, where the v-t time graph is a curved line & u have to find the accl at 4 th sec.
so u have to draw nm perpendicular at m, t=4 sec
then draw tangent makes theta angle with time either by measuring the angle and then tan of that angle u can find the acceleration or by simply finding the ratio of mn to mp.
as tan theta=mn/mp
find the dist of mn and mp. and find the ratio it is acceleration . this concept came from:
