Please explain why water takes the shape of the container? And 6.10kg of gas can be filled into a 2 litre cylinder but 10 litres of water can't be?Explain.

Water has no fixed shape so it can take the shape of container.
Gas has molecules far apart and it can compressed easily that is why .10kg of gas can be filled into a 2 litre cylinder but 10 litres of water can't be.
