It is said that plants in deep soil have more mechanical strength than plants in shallow soil. Then , during a cyclone , most big trees are fell but most of the grass remain the same.Give Reason.

Big trees with a tap root or a deep root system are unlikely to be blown away by cyclone but those big trees that have shallow root system are easily blown away.Grasses have fibrous compact root system that holds soil particles tightly and are not affected by cyclone.
