is hydrotropism effective in aquatic plants?? what happens in them

Hydrotropism is a response of a plant to grow towards or away from water concentrations. Aquatic plants show hydrotropism as the roots grow towards water, However, some roots are superficially submerged in water due to higher concentration of water content.
