integrate (x2 + 4)/ (x4+16)

divide the numerator and denominator by x2 we get , 4/x2 + 1 as numerator and 1 + 16/x2 as denominator
Then write denominator as (x-4/x)2 + 8 and put x - 4/x = t --> (1 + 4/x2) dx = dt
we get
I = dt/(t2 + 8) which can be integrated as 1/2root2 [ tan-1t/2root2 ] , then substitute value of t in x
