Given, B sin x = A sin (2y + x)
B/A = sin (2y + x)/ sinx
Applying componendo and dividendo,
B + A/B - A = sin (2y + x) + sinx/ sin (2y + x) - sinx
B + A/B - A = 2 sin (x + y) cos y/ 2 cos (x + y) sin y
B + A/B - A = cot y/ cot (x + y)
(B + A) cot (y + x) = (B – A) cot y
