Yes you can decrease the least count by increasing the number of divisions on a circular scale.
pitch is basically the distance covered by circular scale in one rotation
and we devide it by putting divisions in circular scale. hence if we increase the niumber of divisions on a circular scale our least count will decrease
and hence accuracy will increase.
However in practical case it is limited by some errors like backlash error or even our own capability to turn the screw properly
