Given that the tap can fill the tank at the rate of 1.4 litres per second

In 28 minutes the tap can fill the tank completely

Thus, Total volume of the tank = 1.4 cross times 60 cross times 28 equals 2352 space l i t r e s

One litre = 1000 cubic metre

Thus one cubic metre = 1 over 1000 l i t r e s
Thus, total volume = 2352 over 1000 space c u b i c space m e t r e equals 2.352 space c u b i c space m e t r e
a cubed equals 2.352 rightwards double arrow a equals open parentheses 2.352 close parentheses to the power of 1 third end exponent rightwards double arrow a equals 1.33 space m e t r e rightwards double arrow a equals 1.33 space cross times 100 space c e n t i space m e t r e rightwards double arrow a equals 133 space c e n t i space m e t r e
