Take the iron strip and the thin covered copper wire, and wrap the copper wire around the strip, leaving some length of wire at both the ends.Make sure you don’t overlap the wires when you wrap it around the strip. Take your scissors or cutter, and cut the wire allotting about 8 to 10 inches on both the ends. The next step is to attach the wires to the terminals of the battery. attach one end to the positive terminal of the dry cell battery, and the other end to the negative terminal of the battery. Get your electric tape and tape both ends of the wire to the battery terminals to keep them in place. Now the current is flowing in the copper wire.
