In generator mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy.
In motor electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy.
generator generates only alternating voltage.
Motors can be operated by Alternating voltage or DC voltage depends upon the type of motor
In domestic electrical connections electrical appliances are connected parallely
so that each and every appliance will get same voltage and draw the current as per requirement.
Each appliance will be operated independently
