Environmental conservation refers to anything that helps in making life more sustainable for the planet.  The following are some of the ways of protecting the environment.

• Reuse and recycle as much as you can.
• Use public transport as much as you can.
• Reduce emissions from cars by walking or cycling.
• Separate biodegradable and recyclable waste from non-biodegradable.
• Work to reduce the amount of non-biodegradable or recyclable waste.
• Save water. Use a bucket instead of the shower.
• Turn off your computer when not in use.
• Unplug unused appliances. Even when powered off, plugged-in appliances use electricity.
• Avoid using appliances that have CFCs or other agents harmful to the environment.
