STORY WRITING

A Dishonest Doctor

Once, there lived a doctor in a village. He was famous for curing eye-diseases.

A lady also lived in that village. She became blind. She could see nothing with her eyes. She sent for the doctor. When the doctor came, she requested him to cure her eyes. She promised to give him as much money as he liked if he cured her. The doctor agreed to her proposal.

The doctor used to come to her house daily. After droping some lotion in her eyes he used to take away something from her house. When she was cured, she found that there was nothing left in her house. The doctor demanded his fee. But she refused to give him even a single pie.

The doctor was very cunning. He filed a case against the lady. Both of them appeared before the judge. The lady spoke the truth. The judge saw the trick of the doctor. He dismissed the case.

Moral : Stealing is a crime
