The property of the conductor which opposes the flow of chrge through it is known as resistance. The resistance of a conductor is given by
R equals fraction numerator partial differential l over denominator A end fraction
It increases with increase in length and decreases with increase in area of cross-section. 
Resistane of a conductor increases with increase in temperature.
