why zeta potential is known as zeta potential only and why its important to call this zeta potential or why its important  to know this potential what its use  what is the difference between collide and presipitation i dont understand properly use some example also

Zeta potential is a scientific term for electrokinetic potential in colloidal dispersions. In the colloidal chemistry literature, it is usually denoted using the Greek letter zeta (ζ) and hence ζ-potential.

 

Zeta potential is used in colloid chemistry for observing the behavior of dispersive systems in liquids. It also have applications in pharmaceuticals.
