Why there is no change in level of water on melting of floating piece of ice

The level of water remains same on melting of floating piece of ice because -
By Archimedes' principle we know that, the floating object displaces an amount of water which is equal to its own weight.
And the mass of the ice remains same when it melts. Thus, there is no rise in the water level.
