answered-by-expert Expert Answer
The solubility of different compounds is different at same temperature and pressure in the same solvent as the solubility depends upon various factors. Most of the facors depend upon the type of compound. Some of the factors are:
  • Whether the compound is ionic or covalent,
  • The hydrogen bonding, forces of attraction,
  • Energy of hydration for that particular compound.
Hence, solubility of different compounds is different at same temperature and pressure in the same solvent.

The solubility is dependent on the temperature and pressure.
As temperature increases, solubility increases. As pressure increases, solubility decreases.
Hence, the solubility of the same solute differes at different temperartures and pressures in the same solvent.
