RED LEAVES HAVE PIGMENTS CALLED CAROTENOIDS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RED COLOUR .

THESE PIGMENTS  ARE ALSO PHOTORECEPTORS AND THEREFORE ALSO HELP IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS
