CBSE Class 10 Answered
Why potential diffeence is not same in series combination?
Asked by Harinder | 16 Feb, 2018, 06:19: PM
Expert Answer
- In the series combination, the resistors are connected in series, end-to-end (+ to - and - to +).
- Thus, the potential difference applicable on the resistors suffers a loss after every resistor.
- This is called the voltage drop and it always happens when the potential differencce is applied to resisitors connected in series.
