Why it is easy to balance bicycle when it is in motion

Answer:
- The following are the three collective reasons responsible for this:
- Due to the backwards tilt of a bicycle's steering axis, its front wheel touches the ground a little behind the steering axis.
- This means that when the bicycle leans to the left, the upward force from the ground acts to turn the wheel and handle bars to the left, helping the bicycle steer its wheels back underneath the centre of mass.
- The weight of a bicycle's handlebars and front wheel is distributed slightly in front of the steering axis.
 - So that when the bicycle leans to the left the downward force of this mass also helps turn the front wheel to the left.
- There is always a gyroscopic effect from the wheels that helps to steer.
- The gyroscopic precession of the front wheel helps bring the front wheel to the direction of the bicycle's lean.
