Expert Answer
It is easier to obtain a metal from its oxide as compared to its sulphide and carbonate because when we extract metal from its respective ore, we have to perform calcination or roasting step in which carbonates and sulphides of metals are converted into metal oxides. hence in the case of oxides, we can skip this step and directly reduced oxides to obtain the metal.
