why is the decreasing no. of tigers a cause of worry from the view of genetics?

Dear student,
This is because it may lead to sudden elimination of their genes from the existing gene pool and they may become extinct. This will reduce the diversity in nature. Reducing diversity means reduction in evolutionary process due to lesser variation.
