Pyramid of biomass is a graphical representation of biomass or organic matter present per unit area in different trophic levels.

The given food web represents an aquatic ecosystem.

In grassland and forest ecosystem, there is a gradual decrease in biomass of organisms at successive trophic levels from producers onwards to top carnivores resulting in a straight or upright pyramid.

On the other hand, in pond ecosystem, producers are the smallest organisms while carnivores are large in size. Consequently, there is a gradual increase in biomass of organisms at successive trophic levels from producers onwards to top carnivores resulting in an inverted pyramid.

Since the given food web represents an aquatic or pond ecosystem, the biomass of aquatic plants would be the lowest and the biomass of large fishes would be the highest.
