why inside a conductor the electrostatic field should be zero ?

In a conductor, the charge always reside on the surface, That surface charge is balanced by the free electrons in the bulk of the conductr.
Thius on the surface the total charge is balanced, and thats why there is no flux and hence no electric field inside a conductor.
