Why does'nt power of lens depends on refractive index of lens because more the refractive index, more strongly it will bent tge light( as high refractive index will increase the angle of refraction)

The power indeed depends on the refractive index. The formula which is there in the syllabus involves the relation of focal length with image and object distances only. However, there is a formula which will be encountered in higher grades with the name "Lens Maker's formula.
This formula is the one which is used to manufacture lenses. It involves refractive index and the radii of curvature of the lens. The formula goes as
So, we can see that f depends on refractive index 'n' and ultimately P depends on 'n' as well.
