Expert Answer
An electric cell has two terminals, one negative and one positive, because, current cannot pass to only one side. It can only travel through two opposite sides. So a circuit is to be formed in order to transfer chemical reactions and deposition of electrons in anode causes electrical difference in both positive terminal and negative terminal.
