Why does acceleration due to gravity decreases as we move towards the centre of the earth?where and why "g" is more on the earth.Is it at the poles or at the equator?

g=GM/R2  due to the shape of earth, R is more in equator than in poles.
so  value of g is more in poles than in equator.
when we go inside the earth's surface, suppose it is at p then the mass of the shaded portion of the shell will attract the body. so mass will not be M now it will be  less than M=m'  and R will also reduce.
g'=Gm'/r'2  which will be less than g on earth.
