NEET Class neet Answered
Why do we take 3 bulbs only while calculating current through ammeter after calculating total current in the circuit?

Expert Answer
Current drawn by B1 is not passing through Ammeter.
Whereas all the currents drawn by B2, B3 and B4 are passing through Ammeter.
Hence we need to consider the current drawn by bulbs B2, B3 and B4 only to calculate the current.
Each bulb has the rated power 100 W. Hence total power consumed by three bulbs is 300 W
hence current drawn by three bulbs = 300/220 = 1.36 A
