Expert Answer
Hydrilla which is the aquatic weed is easily found in fresh water locations such as lakes, ponds. It thrives and can be obtained without any cost. Hydrilla is also adapted to absorb low intensity sunlight; hence any change in the sensitivity of light will not hamper the results of the experiment. It can also easily utilize the carbon dioxide present in the surrounding water.
