Why can't we see atom with naked eye?
Can we change solid iron into liquid? If yes how?
Why can't we compress the solid block of steel?
Why gases do not have definite volume?

I) it is too much small that's why we can't observe it by naked eye. Size of an atom is in approx pico size ,that size cannot be observed by naked eye.
II) yes by heating the iron till it's melting point
III) Because the intermolecular distance between iron molecules or atoms is not available that's why we can't compress it
IV) The intermolecular forces between molecules is very low that why molecules can't find themselves very tightly that's why they don't posses a particular volume.
