Did you mean the the crystallization of sugar? If yes!! then the answer to your query is as follows:

During the process of sugar refining, The brown coloured impure liquid is allowed to filter through a deep layer of bone charcoal to remove all the coloured impurities. The bone charcoal has the property of adsorption. It adsorbs impurities on its surface leaving behind the clear liquid. The liquid is then evaporated to form sugar crystals of desired shapes and sizes.
