Services are becomming imporatant due to some of the following points
1. Urbanisation: As the number of people shifting from rural to urban areas are increasing the demand for basic services such public utilities, communication, transportation etc are also increasing
2. Rise in per capita income: with the increase in income services such as parks, health centers, beauty services etc also increases.
3. Increase in number of working women has also led to increase in demand for babysitting services, caretakers etc.
