Why are animals a renewable resource??

Renewable resources are the resources which replenish themselves more rapidly than they are consumed. Animals and plants are sustainable, that is, they reproduce at a rate that is faster than our normal rate of consumption. Also, their rate of reproduction can be reasonably improved by man through advancements in technology of breeding. However, it is important that we utilise these resources in a sustainable manner to avoid the extinction of some of their species in the near future.
