Accounting means communicating the financial information of the business organisation to the interested users. Interested users can be broadly divided into internal users and external users.
- Internal users include owner, management and trade unions and employees.
- External users include creditors, banks and financial institutions, investors and potential investors, customers, researchers, government and tax authorities and competitors.
