Which instrument will give the correct reading if ammeter is connected in parallel with voltmeter?

We know that the ammeter measures current in the circuit when connected in series. And the voltmeter can determine the voltage when connected in parallel. Thus, from the given circuit connection we understand that the voltmeter and ammeter are connected in parallel to one another. Hence, voltmeter will give us the correct reading of the voltage across the ammeter.
