The pulley is a sort of lever where the moment of force is replaced by tension of string, it to has the same properties as of lever. It has an effort arm, aload arm and a fulcrum or axis. Its IMA also can be found by the formula Effort arm/Load arm. Pulley is specifically a lever of first order with fulcrum in between the load and effort.
