Where are right hand thumb  or Fleming's rule (either left or right ) rules applied in this em induction?

In general, right-hand thumb rule is used to find the direction of electric current flowing through a conductor. 
Fleming left-hand rule is used to find the direction of motion or force experienced by a conductor placed in a magnetic field.
Fleming right-hand rule is used to find the direction of electric current generated in a conductor when the conductor is moved inside a magnetic field
