when we clap the sound of clapping heard in other room. How it can be heard though there are solid obstacle in between?

we can hear the sound if it is loud enough.
if the sound is louder that means more energy is released.so the vibration produced in the medium will be large. so the wall also will vibrate or if there is some window or openninhg the through there sound energy ie the vibration psses through the medium.
